Customizing the viewer

This section describes how to customize pages displayed by the Horizon Rad station™ Disc Quick Viewer.

The Horizon Rad station™ Disc Quick Viewer uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The CSS specify the following characteristics of the pages displayed by the viewer:

Your local system administrator may customize the appearance of the Horizon Rad station™ Disc Quick Viewer pages by modifying the CSS.

Note: The CSS file should be modified only by personnel familiar with HTML tags and CSS concepts.

To customize the appearance of the Horizon Rad station™ Disc Quick Viewer pages:

  1. At the Horizon Medical Imaging™ server, open the Horizon Rad station™ Disc Quick Viewer CSS file style.css using a text editor, such as Windows® Notepad.
  2. The file is located at the following path:

    <ALI_SITE_CONFIG_PATH>\MIDiscView\data\ali\HTML\

    Note: <ALI_SITE_CONFIG_PATH> represents the folder where HMI configuration files are stored. For more information, contact McKesson Support personnel.

  3. Modify the appropriate settings.
  4. Save the CSS file.

    Note: Modifications made to the CSS file affect all copies of the Horizon Rad station™ Disc Quick Viewer that are exported from Horizon Rad Station™ Advanced.
